Here are some helpful tips:

Lingerie Style

There are so many different lingerie styles with a variety of designs and colors to suit all the body shapes and sizes.  You want to make sure you have lingerie that fits you perfectly, and that it suits your body type and style.

The fist of your lingerie should revolve around your best assets.  This is a time for you to highlight what you like best about your body and show it off!

• Curvy – You know what they say – if you got it, flaunt it!  If you are on the curvy side, consider a flattering bodysuit in your size with bustier style ribbing to accentuate your hourglass figure.  You can also find many fashionable bralettes these days for ladies on the busty side, and you can always consider high waisted panties to draw your curves in and define your waistline.

• Petite – No worries if you are not super tall, the sky is the limit for those of us on the shorter side!  Consider a high-cut lace bodysuit, which will help make your legs look longer.  You can also aim for high-cut underwear to elongate your legs and help you look taller overall.  Do not forget to pair your outfit with heels for that extra boost.

• Athletic – For the ladies with a more athletic build, the two=piece lingerie sets will work great for your boudoir photography session.  While posing, you will be able to accentuate your lean abdomen and show off that body you’ve worked so hard to achieve.  Adding a garter belt can also help make your hips appear a little larger, lengthen your legs, and give you a more curvaceous appearance overall.

• Pear-Shaped – Pears are aware that it is all about the derriere!  Ladies with a fabulous tooshie will want to accentuate it with cute form-fitting panties but consider a sheer or lace slip!  It will elongate you while also showing off your curves from top to that great bottom!

• Apple-Shaped – Apple-shaped ladies usually have broad shoulders, this can make for sexy curves.  Halter tops, spaghetti straps, or even single-strap lingerie pieces can draw attention in a good way.  Consider bringing a shawl or fur to drape around your shoulders to add some artistic flair.

• Tall – Baby-doll slips are amazing for women who have legs for miles.  The playful and flirty look allows for flowy fabric to create curves.  If your length is in your torso, consider a high-waisted lingerie set, to shorten your torso and elongate your legs.

• Busty – Busty ladies know many larger bra sizes tend to cover more, with designs opting for comfort rather than style.  Go for bras made with sheer fabric, lace, or that are low cut on the breasts to accentuate your goodies while covering enough to add a little bit of mystery.

• Small-Chested – If you are feeling a little small up there, just remember, the push-up bra was invented for a reason!  Form fitting bustier will show off the curves of your body while giving you a boost in the bust to be on full display.

• Modest – Whether you want to do a sexy, sultry look with black lace and garters, or a fun and sporty set with bright colors, your look should reflect your personal style.  Not every outfit has to be lingerie.   Some suggestions for outfits that are more modest, yet sexy:  Cocktail dress, Slip, Kimono/Robe, Shawl, Cardigan, Fur, or a Suit jacket.

Add Personality

Keep in mind, we do not allow big props or intimate toys during a boudoir photography session, we do encourage you to bring items of importance to help personalize your photographs.  Such things as:  Special jewelry, T-Shirt, Dress Shirt, Uniform (military or such), or Sports Jersey.

Accessories

Accessories can change your look dramatically.  It’s great to bring beautiful pieces that match your lingerie set and outfits.  This can include:  Jewelry, Fashion glasses, Tie, Suspenders, Hat, Boots, or Heels.

We do not allow intimate toys; we do allow kinky accessories!  Here are a few things that might be fun:  Whips, Chains, or Handcuffs.
